5 things that make an awesome remedial massage

Hello Peachy Peeps,

In our blog today we're going to list our 5 things that make an AWESOME massage.

As you know at Peachy massage is our business so we think we know what it takes to make it the best for you (feel free to let us know if we're wrong!)

Anyway here goes!

  1. Comfy Environment - when ever you go to have a massage the place that you go should feel comfy and relaxing. Its no good going some where that has difficult parking, then you have to navigate through throngs of people only to arrive feeling EVEN more stressed. You have your massage then have to find you way back home! Its best to find somewhere that keeps you relaxed while coming and going!

  2. Great therapists - being qualified is really important, but it isn't everything! Its really important to get along with your therapist and feel that its a mutually beneficial relationship. We think that making time to listen to each and every client and having a wide variety of therapists with different skills is really important. Oh and don't be afraid to try someone new!

  3. On the Spot Claiming - Hicaps is awesome! You can claim from your health fund straight away and only pay the gap. That ROCKS! HiCaps is available with MOST health funds for remedial massage - if yours doesn't I suggest changing funds. Check out the John Small Health Advisory is you want to find the best deal for you http://www.johnsmallhealth.com.au/health_insurance_Form.html

  4. Great Beginning and End - Every time you see your massage therapist you will be different, you might have had an especially stressful week or run a marathon but its really important to have a few minutes for you and your therapist to have a chat and find out just what has been going on with you. Its also really useful to make sure that you have a few minutes after your treatment for any follow up advice like stretching or lifestyle tips.

  5. A little more time - most massage places don't allow for point 4. At peachy WE DO, we have a 15 minute consultation WITH EVERY massage that we do. We want to make sure that each and every time you come for a massage we can give you the MOST AWESOME one possible. Some clients ask us why we do it EVERY time - and I ask them, would you trust a Doctor who just gave you a prescription without finding out what was wrong with you?
